Staff team
CSA's staff team comprises the following full and part time archaeological officers and support staff
Ms Eila Macqueen, Director
Eila works at strategic policy level, liasing with a wide range of interests to raise the profile of archaeology in the public sphere and with people who can make things happen. She is responsible for the development of CSA as an organisation with a voice that counts.
Ms Helen Bradley, Adopt-a-Monument Officer
Helen is responsible for co-ordinating our Adopt-a-Monument project. She is the link between volunteer groups and CSA, providing advice, training and support to those taking part in the scheme. For anyone interested in adopting a monument in their local area, Helen is the first point of contact.
Ms Benedictor Manylathelo, Finance Administrator
Benedictor is responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the organisation.
Dr Paula Milburn, Bibliographic Enhancement Officer
Paula is responsible for the transfer of data from CSA's journal, Discovery and Excavation in Scotland, to the National Monuments Record of Scotland electronic database.
Dr Mags McCartney, Communications Officer
Mags is responsible for the management and development of Scottish Archaeology Month, CSA's flagship public initiative, and for publicising and promoting the work of the Council for Scottish Archaeology in general. In addition she is responsible for the co-ordination of the Young Archaeologists' Club Scottish Network.
Mrs Elspeth White, Development & Membership Officer
Elspeth plays a vital role in CSA identifying and applying for funding streams to support CSA's work and for the administration of the organisation's membership.
Mr Jonathan Wordsworth, Archaeological Adviser on Rural Land Use
Jonathan works with the farming and crofting communities, Agricultural Advisers, land managers, relevant Government bodies and NGOs to promote enhanced understanding of archaeology in the rural context.
