The information below details excavations that CSA are aware of that are happening in Scotland. If you know of any others, please let us know. Please note some of these excavations may offer opportunities for active involvement, others may simply organise open days. Contact the organisers directly to find out more.

The Biggar Museum Trust, Lanarkshire has various activities throughout the year.
The Edinburgh Archaeological Field Society undertakes fieldwork projects and post excavation work.
The Newbarns Project, Kircudbrightshire offers excavation experience annually, usually throughout the summer months.
The Scottish Coastal Archaeology and the Problem of Erosion Trust undertakes field work on eroding coastal sites. To find out what is happening and how to get involved, go to the SCAPE website.
