CALLING ALL BUDDING INDIANA JONES’
The Council for Scottish Archaeology (CSA) will be bringing their bullwhips and trowels to the Strathpeffer Pavilion on Saturday 5th May 2007 as part of the Scottish Archaeology Fair.
The Fair profiles Scottish archaeology at its best, with over 30 local archaeology and history societies taking part, as well as national groups and organisations. The highlight of the day will be The Lochland Vikings who will be fighting local Picts. There will be an opportunity for people to meet the Vikings and find out why they were feared warriors. In addition to this, people can bring things that they’ve found in their own back gardens and have the archaeologists identify them. There will be plenty of opportunity to find out about the archaeology of the Highlands and Scotland, and plenty of real life Indiana Jones’.
The Fair will be at the Strathpeffer Pavilion on Saturday 5th May, from 10-4, with free entry. For more information, visit the CSA website – www.scottisharchaeology.org.uk
